JANE, LA POCHE’s signature model, takes inspiration from the iconic military shoe known as the German Trainer, combining classic detailing with the comfort and wearability of a modern sneaker.
Created as the first collaboration between FITS LIKE A HUG and LA POCHE, BROWN HUG takes JANE’s clean, simple silhouette and introduces bold elements inspired by Western and vintage footwear.
The upper is made from rich brown Italian cow suede. The same suede is used for the fringe that runs from around the lacing and toe through to the sides, adding depth, movement, and texture through the natural variation of the suede’s nap.
Along the sides, deerskin suede cords and red and white beads add a subtle Western character, while embroidered detailing at the heel further reinforces the inspiration. The refined silhouette of the German Trainer is balanced with something a little more earthy and rough around the edges—intentionally leaving a touch of awkwardness and imperfection rather than making the shoe feel overly polished.
A cup sole maintains JANE’s original lightness and comfort. Cushioning has been added to the collar, tongue, and insole to create a comfortable fit designed for everyday wear over the long term.

US 4.5 (22.5cm) - 10.5 US (28.5cm) Standard shoe sizing. These are an E width and sizing is accurate so we recommend ordering TTS (True To Size).
